If you're planning the perfect vacation, a vacation that includes the right mixture of adventure, relaxation and fun then a rock climbing vacation may be perfect for you. Not only will you get a great deal of exercise in while rock climbing, but you'll also have an awesome time exploring different regions of the United States. There are many places to take rock climbing trips, but if you're looking to experience the trip of a lifetime, the following destinations may be some perfect choices.

Capital Reef

This is one destination within the state of Utah that you definitely will want to visit if you're looking for the ultimate rock climbing destination. Capital Reef National Park is excellent for rock climbing, and you're almost guaranteed to have an exhilarating climb if you choose to go there. Capital Reef National Park is preferred by many rock climbers because of the how hard the rock is compared to others that are too soft. Wingate Tower is an especially popular route at Capital Reef National Park.

Arches National Park

Also located within the state of Utah, this is another excellent rock climbing destination. People enjoy climbing at this national park because of unless you're a beginner, you'll want a challenging route, and a challenge is what you'll get at Arches National Park.

Looking Glass Rock

There's nothing like spending time in the beautiful and serene mountains of North Carolina, making it an excellent place to climb. Looking Glass Rock is ideal because of the beautiful white granite dome. The "nose" area of Looking Glass Rock is really nice because not only is it unique, but it's challenging and fun.

Cherokee Bluff

Located in the mountains of Tennessee, this destination if perfect because like some of the other destinations, it is also a great challenge for professionals. Die Capitalist Dog Crack is especially challenging, and is perfect for those looking for adventure as well as a great workout.

Camelback Mountain

As long as you have plenty of hydration (it gets extremely hot and dry in the desert), you should have a superb time climbing near Phoenix, Arizona. Because of the hard mud, this destination is popular among climbers, because the harder the mud, the more fun the climb usually is.
