5 Places in New York City to Meet Single Men

A lot of single girls complain they don't know where to meet a guy in New York City. I was single for over 6 years in New York City and have found some places better than others to meet men. Here are the top 5 places in New York City where I successfully met single men.

Volleyball
I place to meet a single man in New York City is indoor volleyball. There are many different types of sports men play and many leagues for it. Volleyball is a sport that most men sign up to play to meet women since a lot of women like to play too. If you want to join a league that is fine but you usually end up with the same players over and over. I like to mix it up and have more options so I found a volleyball league where you can just drop by when you want to play. Now bars are not what I would normally recommend for meeting a single man in New York City because they can be too dark, too loud, and too expensive. I recommend Common Ground as a great bar to meet single men because of how it is set up. Common Ground isn't just a bar, it serves great food and has a happy hour everyday that has buy one get one on food choices. They also have an Open Mic on Sunday's, Trivia Night on Wednesday's and best of all tons of old school Board Games everyday! Every time I go there there is a great crowd of single men and it is easy to start talking to any of them. All you have to do is pick up a game of Connect 4 and see who wants to play. Cooking Class at ICE
ICE is the Institute of Culinary Education. They offer tons of recreational classes including specific ones just for singles. Cooking class is a great way to meet single men in New York City and you know they also like to cook! The classes are set up so you are broken into teams and learn to cook, and then eat, many different items based on the course you chose. Classes are offered Friday nights and some weekends. The Nintendo Store located in Rockefeller Center in New York City is a great place to meet single men. The store offers a chance for the public to play the Wii, Game Boy, and Nintendo DS systems. They offer the newest games and even Wii Fit to try out for free. Let's face it men love video games and this is a great way to play along with them. There are always men hanging around playing and all you have to do is start talking to them about the game and ask questions. I am sure they would love to explain it to you.

Now I am not giving any specific supermarket to meet a man because single men shop all over New York City. I am saying that supermarkets are a great way to meet single men because they need to eat too. I found the best times to go food shopping with the hopes of bumping into a cute single man is Friday and Saturday. Most men who are food shopping on the weekends alone are single. You can talk to them by simply asking about something in their cart. It has worked for me many times before.
