The goal is to announce a secret sale item that will only be announced through your podcast newsletter and that will only be offered to subscribers.

One easy way to increase your sales is to educate your customers about the products or services that you sell or offer. Product information podcasts can answer common questions about products as well as highlight what makes your products better than your competitions'.
#3 - Introductions
Customers select businesses to work with on a number of factors. One of those factors is how comfortable they are with the business. You can develop a familiarity with your customers by producing podcasts that introduce your company players. These podcasts can introduce new and potential customers to your office staff, to the company's owner and to service reps. These introductions should demonstrate what the individual does for the company and what qualifies them for the position.

Another great use for podcasts is to introduce new products or product lines. These introductory podcasts can be used for teaser campaigns and to announce when the products are available at your store. The teaser campaign podcasts will need to focus on giving brief information about how the product is going to improve life and what the item looks like, however, do not give everything away about the product. When your new products are ready to be released to the public use your podcasts to invite customers to your store for a preview sale.
#5 - General Advertising
In addition to all of the special advertising potential that podcasts offer, they also work well for general advertising. General advertising podcasts will need to be scheduled for regular airing, as well as be available on your website. These podcasts will look and feel just like a television commercial. You will announce the date, time, location and items that are on sale.
