Baking bread takes hours. You have to make the dough, let it rise, punch it down, let it rise, shape it, let it rise and then bake it. Most people are too busy to do all of these steps on a normal day but when everything is closed for snow there is plenty of time.

On a snow day your always looking for a way to get warm. Turn on the oven and do some baking and take warm up the kitchen while your at it.

Fresh Bread Warms the Senses

The smell of fresh baked bread is comforting and will lift a little cabin fever. Real estate agents say that the aroma of homemade bread is so wonderful that they will but a little bread into bake during and open house and it increases home sales!

Fresh Buttered Bread is the Perfect Snack

When the kids come in from the snow or you have finished shoveling the driveway a warm piece of fresh bread is just what your body needs to relax and settle in. Enjoy some of your fresh bread with a cup of tea or glass of wine.

There was no Bread Left at the Store
