5 Reasons I'll Buy Microsoft's Courier Instead of the IPad

The Apple iPad Vs. The Microsoft Courier - Which is Better?

Millionaire Hoy
Oh, snap. Microsoft plans to release its Courier tablet to compete against the Apple iPad and it's looking like the iPad will be given a run for its money. Following are five reasons I'll be buying the Microsoft Courier instead of the Apple iPad.

Design

The Microsoft Courier tablet's design fares a lot better than the Apple iPad. Microsoft's Courier features a dual-screen touch display, which will give tablet lovers a much better solution than the single screen display of the Apple iPad - which looks more like a digital picture frame or an amputee netbook. The foldable dual-screen display of the Microsoft Courier tablet will be better for viewing more than one thing at a time and the folding features of the Courier also provides a solution the iPad tablet can't: protection and easier storage.

Multitasking

The Microsoft Courier spells multitasking with a capital "M", while the Apple iPad tablet lets its users down by crippling its system to only one application at a time. The Microsoft Courier's dual-screen layout features make its stance on better tablet multitasking very clear from the start. Screen to screen dragging, copy and paste, multiple internet browsers at once and mostly all applications on the Microsoft Courier will be made with multitasking features in mind.

It's more social

The Apple iPad is a very personal device that sits on its own island away from external devices and any other input of any kind, but the Microsoft Courier wants you to make friends. The Microsoft Courier takes social computing way further than just social marketing and makes it better by adding features like project collaboration, posting entries for comment, and uploading entire projects, notes, and journals for others to download directly to their Microsoft Courier or on their personal computers.

Business vs. pleasure

If you were to examine both the Apple iPad and Microsoft Courier tablet closely, you'd recognize that both were pretty much designed for different uses. Both the iPad and Courier are features a multitouch and color display, but the iPad is more suited for entertainment and the Microsoft Courier is better for the lifestyle of business professionals. Microsoft's Courier tablet will make doing business a lot better with cool features like an inbuilt calendar, schedule, organizer, internet browser, contacts, agenda, search engine and more.

I already have an iPod

While it's a sad and cliché statement, the iPad's features are only a little better than that of an iPod's. The iPad is bigger and faster, but a bigger iPod was only appealing before the announcement (leak) of the Microsoft Courier. Lots of would-be Apple iPad tablet buyers will want something more innovative and better than the iPod and the iPad pales in comparison to the innovation of the Microsoft Courier.

Thanks for leaving a mindless comment to compliment the mindless nature of this article. Do you get paid for your internet "Trollery"? The title makes it known that this is my personal opinion; not the general consensus. Ciao.

I hope you aren't writing articles much longer. This is simple minded, subjected conjecture at best, and has no real place in a reporting medium.

    Cheers
