- You don't have to download anything at all.
Not having to download Meebo is great! You will also not have to download any of the messengers that you'll use, and if you have them already you can safely uninstall them without risking the ability to still sign on. If you have a good and reliable internet connection then there's no reason to not use Meebo full time. You can even make it your home page.
- There's no registration needed.
Meebo can be used as soon as you hit their homepage. There is no registration needed at all, ever. You will not have to do anything at all except sign in to the messengers you want using the login names and passwords you've set for those things. You can also easily log out and you'll never have to worry. If at one time you have trouble using Meebo, you can get support even without being a registered user.
- You can log into multiple messengers and just have one buddy list.
This is the greatest advantage to Meebo. If you're a AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and even Google Talk messenger girl/guy you will be able to use them all at the same time and have one buddy list only. This is the greatest thing ever if you don't like logging into four different messengers which all take up a lot of memory.
- New features are added all the time.
Although Meebo doesn't have all the features that each messenger has normally, it does have a lot of them. Meebo also updates their site very often, and they're always adding new things to it and new features for their users. If you give it a shot, you will see that it's not so different from the regular messengers.
- At school you can't always use the regular messengers.
What's good about Meebo is that it can be used when you're on campus. A lot of the messengers cannot be opened while on campus because of security issues, but with Meebo you can be sure that you will be able to connect and talk to your buddies even while you're not supposed to be doing that in class.
