5 Reasons Pajamas Are a Perfect Gift for 2008

2008 Holiday shopping may be a challenge to many individuals who find they are strapped for cash. We are so busy looking for jobs or struggling to keep the ones we have, many of us don't have time to shop. We also don't have the cash resources to buy gifts that, while wonderful, may be expensive. In lieu of a large cash outlay, I've gone back to some of the tried and true of yester-year. Here are five great reasons pajamas are number one on my list.

1. Pajama sizes are forgiving. You only have to approximate the recipient's size. Sears features 'Enchanting brand' short sleeve basic satin pajama sets in sizes up to 2X for just 18.99 and up.

2. Pajamas come in a huge array of styles, fabrics and patterns to suit almost anyone's taste. Colorfulcritters.com has pink flamingo draw string pajama shorts for just 17.99.

3. Whatever color they come in pajamas are green. They can help conserve energy this winter by allowing your loved ones to lower their thermostats. Everyone is feeling the economic pinch;using less energy is one way to save cash.

4. Pajamas are generally affordable. In most cases you can score a great pair of pajamas for mom, dad or sister for under 20.00 dollars

5. While you may not find the cat's pajamas, you can get pajamas for your dog. Target has a nice pair of fur cuffed leopard print dog pajamas starting at 14.99.

I realize it's not an in-depth expose` on the breakdown of the world financial market but one has to start somewhere.
