1. The new Playstation 3 has a 60GB and a 20GB memory unit built-in, this will allow you to stop having to hassle with buying the memory cards.
2. The new Playstation 3 has been built with Blue-ray technology. This will allow games to be of a bigger size, up to five times as much data as the original DVD disc. With this new Blue-ray technology all games are now going to be HD capable, enhancing graphics to a new level.
3. The controllers are either wired or wireless allowing you to choose which option you enjoy most. If you do choose wireless and you are running out of your 30 hr. charge you can plug it into one of four USB ports in the Playstation 3 game console and charge while you play. Also, the controllers have been upgraded. The new Sixaxis controllers have been fixed in a minor way to maximize your comfort and precision.
4. A new cell broadband engine has been put into the Playstation 3 game console. This new unique multi-processing unit design allows for more enemies, more AI, more explosions, and more realistic game-play. The enemy AI will behave unpredictably, glass will crack based on the size of an object, and individual flecks of dust in the light will be seen. All these features will allow for the Playstation 3 game console to produce a more realistic game experience and this chip is 40 times faster than the chip that runs the Playstation 2 computer entertainment.
5. Playstation 2 online is weak, but the new Playstation Network, free for all Playstation 3 owners, has been made new and improved. You can now play with up to 40 players simultaneously online. You can download new games and maps and updates for games in the Playstation Store. You can communicate with friends through messages or hook up an Eyetoy or any web cam and communicate through videos. A key feature that not even the Xbox 360 has is that you can search the Internet over the PS3. You can also receive updates for the system easily.
These are just five reasons why you should buy the new Playstation 3. The new system is obviously better, but for a $600 cost it better be a better system.

Post a CommentThe only that's holding me back from bying a PS3 right now is the backwards compatability issue. I know it plays PS2 games just fine, I haven't heard anything about PS1 games. I have many of such games (especially RPGs) and I want them to work on my PS3 system if I were to buy one. Do you know if it plays PS1 games? Your help would be very welcome!
