5 Science Books that Will Make You Love Science

Science Books Aren't Just for Nerds Anymore

Rachel Heller
What do you think about when science is mentioned in conversation? It is possible that you think of petri dishes, test tubes, and beakers. It is also possible that you would think of frogs, microscopes, and the Periodic Table from your chemistry class in either high school or college. In addition, you might think of dissecting frogs, exams, and experiments with plants. Science books are informative; however; they can be a bit dry. Science is fun and science books are fun reading. In other words, science books aren't just for nerds anymore. Therefore, here are five science books that will make you love science. if you love science already then, these five books will you make you love science more. These five science books are books that I would recommend to book clubs.

The Disappearing Spoon focuses on the Periodic Table. How many people had chemistry class in high school or college? If you did have chemistry class then, it is a safe bet that it involved memorizing the Periodic Table. Memorizing the Periodic Table is fun. In addition, reading about it is also fun in The Disappearing Spoon. This splendid science book dives into all of the sciences. It looks chemistry, biology, anatomy, and physics. A funny part of this book involves mercury. It also talks about some of the most famous scientists in the world; such as Albert Einstein and Louis Pasteur. I recommend this book because it isn't overly scientific. This book will make you love science.

How to Teach Physics to Your Dog is funny and fascinating. When is the last time you taught your dog a trick? Teaching a dog about physics would be a great trick. In this funny science book, the author teaches his dog about physics. He does this by using physics principles in relation to burying bones and chasing squirrels. My favorite chapter is about Schrodinger's Dog. This chapter is a take-off of the famous physics experiment called Schrodinger's Cat. I like this particular physics theory. This science book is a must- read for dog lovers and physics lovers. This book made me interested in physics.

Physics of the Impossible talks about things seen in science fiction stories. This science book might seem a bit out of the ordinary. It talks about teleportation and time travel. These topics have been touched on in Star Trek and Flash Gordon. I am also a fan of the book called The Time Machine. This science book is great because it poses questions about how long it would take for time travel and force fields to become a reality. This book does go out on a limb; however, that is why this book will fascinate readers of all ages.

Parallel Worlds talks about the possibly of other worlds. Is there a world next to this one? This science book ponders that possibility. It also discusses bubbles and The Big Bang Theory. I am not talking about the television show about physicists. However, the show is funny. This science is a great one for beginning scientists.

The Grand Design examines our existence. This science books talks about the meaning of the universe. It also has questions about our existence. It also explores The Big Bang Theory. This is an intriguing science book.

The subject of science might sound boring. It might also conjure up imagines of nerds. However, books about science aren't just for nerds anymore. There are science books that will make people love science. These books involve the Periodic Table, a dog, the possibilities of another worlds, scientific concepts discussed in science fiction stories, and everything in the universe. Reading about science is fun and fascinating. Source: none
