The first book in the Twilight series is the one that will just pull you in as a reader and make you beg for more. It is called Twilight. It is about a young teenage girl named, Isabella "Bella" Swan who moves to dreary Forks, Washington from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to live with her dad after her mom remarries. Bella is instantly drawn to Edward Cullen not knowing that he has a deadly secret. He is a vampire. The book continues on from there.
The next book in the Twilight series is called New Moon. It is a dark period in Bella's life. Hence the title which means the darkest phase in the lunar cycle. It is about Bella turning eighteen, and her struggles with pain. The book ends with Bella having to make a big decision.
The third book in the Twilight series is called Eclipse. This book is about choice, and it is why there is a broken ribbon on the cover. It is a wonderful continuation in the life of Bella. Murders are being committed in Seattle. So, the mystery has to be solved. Plus, Bella has confusion in matters of her love life. All comes sorted out in the end, and Bella makes her final decision.
The forth book in the Twilight series is called Breaking Dawn. This is the last novel from Bella's perspective. This book shows the metamorphism of Bella's character through the Twilight series. Everything is resolved in this book for Bella.
That is what the Twilight series is all about, the heart of one young girl, and how her life evolves. The reader can never get enough of the Twilight series, and it is easy to become addicted to the storyline. It is one of those series that you just do not want to put the books down until you get the complete picture. That is how you know it is a good series, and that is why I give the Twilight series a 5 star rating.

Post a CommentGreat review. My stepdaughter LOVES the Twilight series.
Great review. I haven't read all the books yet so thank you for not giving it all away. I can't wait to finish reading the series.
This makes me want to get the books and read them. :-) Great review.
I haven't read the Twilight books or seen the movie. It amazes me how many people loudly despise this series. When I read (or watch TV or movies), my interpretation and enjoyment are usually based on my own experiences. I don't notice "bad" writing or acting if the mood is there.
Excellent review. I've only read Twilight and I'm dying to finish the rest of the series.
