The iPad unlike most computers does not have a complicated and confusing file system that senior citizens could get lost in, it has a dead simple touch screen interface that is easy for anyone to figure out, and it is much easier for a senior citizen to get used to the touchscreen then a mouse. The iPad can easily connect to the Internet and play music with its built in itunes. Also with the iPad being much bigger then an iPod senior citizens are able to take it with them and not have to worry about loosing as they would with a tiny nano iPod.
