5 Things to Do Instead of Watching the Super Bowl
Super Bowl 2011 What it Means to Non-Football People
1. Watching Movies
Many families who aren't football fans are having a Super Bowl Sunday movie marathon. You can have friends over, eat all kinds of good food and enjoy the companionship without watching football.
2. Cooking
Making piles of yummy treats and snacks doesn't require that you actually watch the Super Bowl. You can have tailgating food at home while you do other things, and even watch TV on a channel that isn't featuring the battle between Green Bay and Pittsburgh.
3. Reading
Yes, there are people, myself included, who don't watch football and would rather read a book than sit through however many hours a game lasts.
4. Chatting and Watching Commercials
Have you ever been to a Super Bowl party where only half of the people watch the game? The people who have no clue about the game will sit through (talking during the plays) and pay attention only to the commercials and the half time show.
5. Twitter and Facebook
We don't have to watch the game, those of us who don't like football will learn more than we ever wanted to know about the sport and the happenings during the game by checking out Twitter and Facebook. If I hadn't been on Facebook I would have never known about Christina Aguilera messing up The Star Spangled Banner. I wouldn't know nearing halftime the Packers are ahead.
So for all of you who wonder exactly what us non-football people do while the Super Bowl is on, here's your answer. We typically do whatever we would be doing on any other Sunday night of the year. In my case that means writing articles and thinking about tomorrow night when the real sport of Wrestling in the form of WWE's Monday Night Raw is on!

...or you could read articles written by other people who aren't paying attention to it.. ;)
I agree, hearing about Super Bowl on facebook is enough for me!
Or you could spend it like me, looking for a webite that broadcasts the game because you don't get it on tv or the radio!lol
