There are things that you should keep in your car at all times. You never know when something might come up like emergencies and you may need something. In this guide, I will list the five things you need to have in your car at all times in case of an emergency or your car breaks down. You may already have some of these things in your car, but if you don't have these things in your car, you should really put them in there.
#1 - Flashlight
The first thing you will need to put in your car is a flashlight. You never know when you might break down at night and need some light. A flashlight will definitely be what you need if it is dark and you need to look under the hood or find something in the trunk. It wouldn't hurt to put a couple of flashlights in your car. You can buy them for a couple of dollars from places like Wal-Mart.
#2 - First Aid Kit
You will also need to put a first aid kit in your car. You never know when someone will get a scratch, cut or some kind of other injury and need a band aid. So, keeping a first aid kit in your car will help.
#3 - Spare Tire & Tools
Of course you will need a spare tire, jack and some basic tools. You could get a flat tire at any time and you will need to have a spare and a jack. You will also need basic tools like pliers, straight screwdriver and a Philips screwdriver. These are your basic tools and you never know when you might need them.
#4 - Battery Charger
Sometimes the batteries in cars will go dead with no warning. We may leave a light on, or the car switched on and the battery will run dead. Having a battery charger in the car will crank your car so you don't have to get someone to jump you. Sometimes there is no one around to jump you and this is when these will come in handy.
#5 - Food & Water
The last thing in this list is food and water. You never know when you might break down or how long you will be stuck beside the road. So, it is a good idea to keep water and food in your car at all times. For food, you can keep things like cookies and chips. Things that want go bad.
There are other things that you can put in your car, but these are the main things you need.
