Tip Number Two: Get some protection. You will no longer have the services of the bouncer at the club and will need to find your own. You can use your boyfriend or husband as long as they have no issue with this kind of work. You may have to place a ad online and pay someone a cut of the money. I recommend this as a step that you do not skip. You never know what can happen with one - three dancers and a party full of drunk men.

Tip Number Three: Since this is your business make sure you treat it as such. Return all customer phone calls promptly and friendly. Make sure you are on time and prepared to work as soon as you get there. Bring all your game supplies, music, changes of clothes, baby wipes and a contract for the party leader to sign. Never, ever drink anything that is offered to you at a private party. Bring your own bottled beverage and keep it in your stuff so that no one knows that you have it.

Tip Number Four: Find some other dancers to work with you. You may find that being the only lady gets a little old for the people you are entertaining. Bring a friend so that she can run distraction such as private dances and dollar dances while you are running the games. You can switch back and forth to give your audience some fresh faces to see.

Tip Number Five: Make sure that you get your fee for being there upfront when you get the contract signed.
