5 Tips to Getting More Swagbucks

Mary Kirkland
If you haven't heard of Swagbucks, you may have been missing out on a lot of free stuff. Swagbucks let's you use their search engine like Google would but Swagbucks gives you what they call Swagbucks just for using their search engine on their home page, or their toolbar.

These Swagbucks can then be used for free things from their Swagstore. I've already gotten 2 gift cards for free. All you have to do is search the way you normally would and they give you Swagbucks several times a day just for doing so. Don't forget to take a picture of yourself holding your prize and send it in, you'll receive one Swagbuck for doing that.

Tip 1. Download the Swagbucks toolbar and look for free Swagcodes given through it. During the month Swagbucks randomly will leave Swagcodes inside the toolbar that you then take to their website and enter it where it says to "enter your swag code".

Tip 2. Search right from their home page. If you don't want to download their toolbar you don't have to. You can log into the site and do your searches right form their home page. They will award you Swagbucks right into your account several times a day for doing so. They will also randomly give you Swagbucks where all you have to do if copy the letters they show you into a small box.

I would space out your searches throughout the day in order to win Swagbucks. I usually search in the morning, around lunchtime and then again at night.

Tip 3. Daily Polls. If you do their daily polls everyday you will be awarded at least one Swagbuck each time you do so. What's easier than taking a few seconds to answer a poll?

Tip 4. Wait until Christmas time to buy stuff from the Swagstore. Sometimes during the month of December different things from the Swagstore are drastically cut in price and you can get them for many less Swagbucks. Last year during December, one thing from the Swagstore was lowered in price everyday, making it easier for those with lower amounts of Swagbucks to snatch them up.

Tip 5. Complete the Special Offers. If you log into the Swagbucks site and look on the left hand side you will see links, click on the special offers link and complete one of them for free Swagbucks.

I must say that when I first went to the Swagbucks website, I was a little confused and somewhat skeptical. It mentioned things like being a “premier rewards site” and a leading online search engine. But if they were a search engine, then how does one generate the rewards from? And why have I never heard of them? Well, it turns out that Swagbucks is indeed pretty legit.
It’s amazingly simple. You just sign up and you can either go to their website each time you want to gain points for surfing the web, or you can just download the Swagbucks toolbar and do your searches from there.
Then each time you do a search using the Swagbucks search engine, you gain Swag Bucks which are good towards a wide variety of prizes, including everything from GPS systems to memorabilia to gift cards to actual cash via PayPal.
During the writing of this review, I installed the Swagbucks toolbar on my computer at home. At the completion of this review, I had already gained 410 Swag Bucks! Now, I’ve
