5 TNA Knockouts that Could Save the WWE Divas
These Former and Current TNA Knockouts Could Really Amp Up the WWE Diva Division!
It is becoming more and more rare for the WWE to even feature one or two matches of any consequence, and it is usually more about T and A then about any real wrestling. That said, the following five women could truly make a difference along with some dedicated booking and attention from WWE creative. They all have wrestled for TNA in the past, or currently do wrestle there. What could the money behind WWE do with this group of female wrestlers? We may never know but it is fun to imagine.
Angelina Love - Angelina Love is a lightening rod on this subject. Some love her and some hate her, but nobody ignores her. She has been back and forth with TNA the last few years, but she brings grit and beauty to a womens wrestling division when she is on. I can totally imagine her feuding with the likes of Kelly Kelly or even Michelle McCool. Love may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she is a hell of a heel and the Divas need that desperately. While the WWE did have her under development way back when, she is not the same wrestler that she was then. This lady can draw some serious heat.
Roxxie Laveaux (Nicole Raczynski) - Roxxie is the one wrestler that to me is completely untapped potential. She was horribly misused by TNA. Back when she was "The Voodoo Queen" she was incredible. From her kick butt finisher (Voodoo drop) to her hardcore tendencies and quirky entrance, this was one gimmick that had huge potential. She was so over with the TNA crowd that it is puzzling to me why they changed it up at all. I can totally imagine Roxxie debuting as the Voodoo Queen in the WWE and being instantly huge as a face or heel. What is Vince waiting on? She is now available after yet another release from TNA.
Awesome Kong - Without a doubt, Kong is in a class all her own for vicious tendencies and size. This lady could legitimately compete with the men regardless of whether it was entertainment or not. How people were not seriously injured by this lady is beyond me. Imagine her and the Glamazon Beth Phoenix. Now that would be power on display worth watching, no matter how uncomfortable it might be.
Lacey Von Erich - Lacey is yet another that got away from the WWE developmental team and it is unclear as to why. She certainly has the heritage being the daughter of Legendary Kerry Von Erich and granddaughter to Fritz. That said, she has a pretty good gimmick and moves in the ring. I can totally envision her in a feud with the Hart Foundation's Natalia. While she is less polished in the ring than the others on this list, she certainly could be better than the current group of WWE Divas.
Madison Rayne - Madison Rayne is a bit of an enigma. In many ways she is literally made by the "Beautiful People" gimmick, but I think that she is better than all that. I think that given a fresh gimmick, the current TNA Knockouts champion could be huge in the WWE. She certainly has the guts as I have seen her take some serious bumps in the Knockout division. She is an athlete for sure.
Any one of these current and former TNA Knockouts could seriously amp up the WWE Diva division and bring it back to the former days of glory. It was a great part of watching the WWE during the attitude era, and watching females that know what they are doing in the ring is a huge draw. Forget all the pretty faces for a while, WWE, and give us what we want... Pretty and Talented!
