1. Tofu a la mode-
Carefully heat tofu turkey in convection or non-convection oven at 400-425 degrees Fahrenheit until insides are warm. Be sure to slice a bit of tofu turkey or stuffing out and test for thoroughness. Add celery after 25-30 minutes of cooking, carefully sprinkling celery inside the tofu turkey, on top of the tofu turkey, and within the pan. After tofu turkey is finished cooking (30-90 minutes depending on type of tofu and defrost time) turn off oven and wait for tofu turkey to cool. Great with tofu ice cream and tofu soft drink.
2. Tofu turkey au gratin-
Another way to prepare the dressings around the tofu turkey is to select a wine-based meatless sauce with red potatoes and crunchy bits of Italian lettuce all ground to a fine puree and blended in after the tofu turkey is finished cooking. Just remember to let the turkey sit for a while longer before beginning to eat. The sauce will be absorbed and everyone will rave about how smashing your tofu turkey is!
3. Sliced tofu turkey sandwiches with tomatoes-
After all of the initial tofu turkey has been consumed, you can still slice the remainder of the tofu turkey into slices and arrange it into sandwiches with rye or wheat bread and stuff sliced tomatoes into there. The consistency of tofu turkey isn't as dense as that of real turkey meat, but tofu turkey is oftentimes drier and has a squishier consistency, allowing people to eat more of it per sitting. I think the tomatoes will enough taste and nutrition to make this one a favorite among all ages.
4. Tofu turkey dumplings-
Take uncooked tofu turkey and smash into paste in a large bowl, kneading and rolling until the uncooked tofu turkey is suitably malleable. Roll the uncooked tofu turkey into small balls the size of your choice. Some like dumplings the size of strawberries, some like dumplings the size of apples. With a few dumpling wraps (squares made from flour) carefully wrap the uncooked tofu turkey balls. Prepare a set of wrapped uncooked tofu turkey balls. When there is enough to be cooked, begin to boil water and boil uncooked tofu turkey dumplings, leaving heat at medium or high level of heat. When the consistency feels as if the tofu turkey dumplings have been cooked thoroughly, turn off heat and drain water from tofu turkey dumplings. Eat in peace.
5. Tofu turkey chowder-
Mix two cups of diced tofu turkey, a half cup of diced carrots, two cups of small diced potatoes, and one and a half quarts of vegetable broth. Cook until carrots and potatoes are tender and mixture has thickened. Stir in one tablespoon of margarine and one cup of soy milk. Add salt and pepper or substitutes if preferred.
