1. Elvis' Christmas Album by Elvis Presley - The "King" of Rock-n-Roll recorded this album in 1957 when he was at the top of his career. This collection includes all types of songs from Silent Night to White Christmas to Santa Claus Is Back In Town. His rendition of I'll Be Home For Christmas brings back nostalgic memories and Blue Christmas is one of Elvis' all time great Christmas songs. Also included on the CD is Here Comes Santa Claus, Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me, and O Little Town of Bethlehem. The last four songs are more religious than Christmas like and include Take My Hand Precious Lord, Peace In The Valley, It's No Secret and I Believe. This alburm is a great collection of Elvis holiday songs.
2. The Christmas Album by Nat King Cole - My favorite song of all time is Nat King Cole singing The Christmas Song also known as Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire. The CD came out in 1994. It has a wonderful collection of Nat King Cole Christmas songs sung as only he can. This CD is a must for anyone who enjoys tradtional Christmas music. It includes such favorites as Away in the Manger, The First Noel and Hark the Herald Angels Sing. You will treasure this album for a long time.
3. The Christmas Album by Frank Sinatra - This 14 song CD collection captures Frank Sinatra at his holiday best. My favorite songs on this collection are Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and I'll Be Home For Christmas. Some of the other tracks by Old Blue Eyes include Jingle Bells, The Christmas Song , Mistletoe and Holly, White Christmas and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. This CD will really put you in the Christmas spirit with its other traditional Christmas tunes.
4. Merry Christmas by Mariah Carey - This 1997 CD has been a classic since it first came out. Mariah's incredible voice makes this Christmas album stand out. All I Want For Christmas is a Christmas favorite on everyone's list of favorite Christmas songs and Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) is another song of Mariah's that was an instant favorite. Some of the other songs on this 10 song collection by Mariah are Silent Night, Joy To The World and Oh Holy Night amongst others. There are both fun tracks and ballads on this CD that will make this album a Christmas time favorite of yours too.
5. White Christmas by Bing Crosby - Everyone know the words to White Christmas. This favorite Christmas song of many is the featured song on this CD. The crooner sings many other favorites on this album including God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, Silver Bells and It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas. You will also enjoy two non-traditonal songs called Christmas in Killarney and Mele Kalikimaka. Bing and Christmas go hand in hand and this CD is a classic.
Listening to any of these Christmas Carol CD's will bring back memories of Christmas's past, spent with family and friends, gathered around the Christmas tree, enjoying the season as only Christmas should be enjoyed.
