5 Unique Halloween Costumes for Kids and Teens 2009

Daring Halloween Costumes

Here are two top "putting the dare in daring" unique Halloween costumes for kids and teens in 2009.

H1N1 is amongst us, but what's the true fear? It spreading. There is nothing more scary to a parent than passing a bunch of sick looking kids that cough constantly with dark circles around their eyes, red nose and pale skin. Sounds like a zombie but it's not, it's H1N1, and you better beware! Here's what you can do to reach this idea.

- Make-up should be done with white powder on the face, dark shadow under the eyes, rouge on the nose with a dash of blue on the lips. The clothes can be anything as long as the feet are dragging like there is no more energy to offer.

Tip to Identify * The trick to this costume is to have the child wear a very thin face mask.

Kanye West has been making it into the spotlight but for all the wrong reasons.

- If your child likes Kanye West have them wear a black shiny long sleeve button down with a pair of black jeans or slacks, a pair of black shoes, a pair of black sun glasses and fake diamond earring clips, watch and rings.

Tip to Identify * The trick to this costume is to have the child hold up a microphone to tell the world that Beyonce's video was the best one EVER.

You've heard of Harry Potter. You've heard of High School Musical. But have you heard of Grease? Grease is the word, for a teen. Sandy, portrayed by Olivia Newton-John, wore ankle height black tight pants with an off the shoulder 2 inch sleeve felt textured black v-neck blouse, a belt with a gold buckle, medium sized hoop earrings and a waist cut black leather coat with a lining. The shoes should be a pair of wooden Candies heels with red tops.

A little less than six months ago Faith Hill has been compared to Olivia Newton-John by TMZ.com. The character of Sandy can be fun, interesting and fashionable. Speaking of fashionable, large hooped earrings never go out of style. If you have a pair of large hooped earrings, a short skirt, heels (flats will do), long hair and a good voice you could dress up as Madonna, Cher or Beyonce Knowles.
