Work on campus in the computer labs. Basically your job is to ensure that people are not hogging machines for non-work related projects while others wait for computers to empty, and that no one damages anything. In most college labs there are plenty of computers and now with the abundance of laptop owners the labs are less busy. The perks to this job are you get paid, and you will have time to do your own school- work while overseeing what is going on in your lab. Usually these jobs are in shifts so it is not too much of a time commitment, but you can make some money doing it. Obviously the more shifts you work the more money you make!
2.
Get your own free wireless store. College students are frequently getting new cell phones, upgrading what they have, or changing calling plans altogether. By joining a site such as TMI Wireless http://www.tmiwireless.com/affiliate/?aid=16181). All you would need to do is print off the fliers already made for you on this site and pass them around campus. Post them on bulletin boards, leave them in bathrooms, anywhere that they will get picked up and read. It is free to join and when anyone orders their new phone you get paid a commission. Not a bad deal!!
3.
Write freelance articles for a site such as Associated Content. This can be done in your spare time and should ultimately improve your writing abilities. Also with all the writing and research you are already doing for school, some of those can be adapted into a interesting article that others would want to read. Writing is fun and can be for some people a mental release. So kick back with your laptop and have fun with this one!!
4.
Sell Mary Kay. This may seem silly for a college student, but all the girls I went to college with washed their face, and most wore makeup. This could also be a really fun way to make some extra money and afford your own makeup. All this would take is scheduling parties for the dorms, and sorority houses. Get the girls together, offer some chips dip, beer, whatever is appropriate and have samples for them to try. This is an easy way for them to buy their makeup without going shopping and everyone can have a good time doing it. Just because you are working your way through school there are enough people living off mommy and daddy that can afford to buy off you!

This you can do from the comfort of your dorm room on your laptop too. Work as a guide for Cha-cha. Cha-cha is a search site kind of like Google. Only Cha-cha has real people acting as guides and searching for people. You would be the person helping them search. It takes some training but you learn quickly how to navigate the system and find sites for people quickly and efficiently. You get paid for the time you are actively searching. It is fun to interact with the searcher and you learn new things everyday doing this job. It is also nice because you can do it in your spare time. If you have an hour between classes you can log on and work for that hour. No set schedule to try and follow. Plus in between searches you can check your email and other things on your computer.
