5 Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home
Fun, Relaxing, and Affordable Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home
Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home #1: Movie Marathon
A movie marathon is a wonderful way to entertain at home. Plus you can get your friends involved. Ask your friends to bring some of their favorite movies. You could even do a theme. For example, each friend could bring a horror film or an award winning film. To make things even more interesting, fix food that revolves around the movie theme. This will quickly become one of your favorite ways to entertain at home.
Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home #2: Games Night
When is the last time you played your favorite board game? When is the last time you played a game at all? There have been so many great games released over the past few years. Either pull the games from your closet and enjoy some old favorites or go purchase a new game that you've wanted to try. Also ask your friends to bring their favorite game. This is a great way to entertain at home, but to make it even better serve fun finger foods like sausage balls, pizza rolls, etc. Remember to make it fun.
Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home #3: Have a Barbeque
A barbeque is one of my favorite ways to entertain at home. Spending time outside cooking and talking with your friends is very relaxing. This casual way of entertaining allows your friends to feel more at home and they'll enjoy themselves much more than they would at a restaurant. I suggest serving things like hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, and baked beans. Ask your friends to bring desserts and drinks.
Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home #4: Theme Night
This is a really easy way to entertain at home. All you have to do is pick a theme. For example, you could have Mexican night and have all your friends bring their favorite Mexican dishes. Another great idea is to have a girl's night in. You could spend time watching romantic comedies and eating all sorts of different chocolate desserts like brownies, fudge, and ice cream. You can be really creative when it comes to entertaining this way.
Ways to Entertain Your Friends at Home #5: Iron Chef Cook-Off
Many people have come to love the show Iron Chef making this a great way to entertain at home. There are a few ways you could entertain this way. You could have a secret ingredient like they do on TV or you could ask each person to bring a certain dish. For example, ask everyone to bring a chicken casserole and then judge them to see which one is best. To make this even more fun, have a prize for the person who wins.
