Do something extra "special" each night of the honeymoon. While the passion is certainly alive on a honeymoon trip, make it extra special by wearing something exciting every night. A classy but enticing wardrobe creates an added spark and makes the vacation even more memorable and fun. If bedtime outfits are not your thing, try including some other fun additions to bedtime each night. One evening can be candles, another chocolate-dipped strawberries. What other vacation besides a honeymoon will you have the chance to be extra romantic every single night?
Keep a scrapbook journal. Keeping a log of each day's activities is a good idea, but including feelings makes the honeymoon moments even more memorable. Incorporate how you feel about your partner while logging the stroll you took on the beach, and take note of any other special memories that you want to hold on to. At the time it may seem like the memories could never be forgotten, but through the years they will fade. Photos and videos help, but nothing beats reading your own words years later. Reading a scrapbook journal and touching items from your honeymoon excursions like napkins from a restaurant or seashells from the beach are sure to help you relive those memorable honeymoon moments.
Get matching tattoos or jewelry. In an age where everyone has a tattoo, consider getting one with your spouse on your honeymoon to make it a truly memorable occasion. A small permanent reminder hidden in a place where only the two of you can see it adds to the special nature of the choice. Not into tattoos? Purchase matching jewelry to honor the honeymoon vacation. Every time you wear the item memories of the honeymoon will sneak into your day, sometimes when you need it most.
Go for a couple's spa treatment. Getting a special spa treatment specially prepared for couples is a relaxing and intimate experience. Plan an entire package from a mud bath to a couple's massage for a special touch. The shared serene moments allow both partners to reflect on their love while laying side by side, gazing into each other's eyes.
Skip the alcohol. Drinking alcohol during fun occasions such as a honeymoon vacation seems innocent enough, but in all actuality, it can ruin the trip. Overindulging brings on a hangover, and may even cause one or both partners to forget parts of the evening. You do not need alcohol to have a good time on your honeymoon - save it for the bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Post a CommentNumber six: Bring along your girlfriend. LOL
The second idea is definitely one to remember. I just got engaged a month ago so I'm gonna be thinking more about these honeymoon ideas soon. Thanks for sharing!
This comment's for you :) (I'm doggie-sitting, and we have a "guest doggie" for 10 days. Woofles is being extremely needed while our guest is here. How do I even get articles written???)
This was interesting :))
Cool ideas. It's great to have several different media through which a memory such as a honeymoon is preserved. That way you can take back as much of the experience as you can. The scrapbook and tattoos are my favorite tips.
Interesting ideas. With my honeymoon coming up in just over 3 weeks, I have a few ideas, but mostly it's going to be the opportunity for the two of us to be alone, to do some sightseeing, walking, and to just enjoy each other's company. In the evenings of course that's where the interesting and innovative stuff starts :)
