Although it is said that more visitors a site receives equates to more sales, there are ways that you can get more sales without more site views.
Make your sales message portray your own unique personal style. If someone is impressed by you, they will recommend you to their friends. This is how most sales are made. No one likes to be 'sold'. So make people feel like they are making the decision to buy on their own.
If you can convince your customers that you are a friend and have their best interest at heart, they will feel more comfortable with you and will take your recommendations to heart. This means that they will buy from you. Remember, your salesletter should sound like it's speaking to each person, not everyone.
Another way to make people buy from you is to place testimonials and comments from previous/current customers on your web page. Don't be afraid to publish negative comments either. This will let prospects know that they are real.
When a potential customer sees these testimonials, they will buy with confidence. If they see that other people have purchased from you, they will trust you more. Trust also equates to sales.
You can always place pictures in your ad copy. Not everyone reads everything that is on a page (I know I don't). Most will pay attention to the pictures though.
Give away bonuses with the products. Buyers will get the feeling that they would be foolish to miss the 'special deal' that you offer. Don't forget to say how much the bonus is worth, this way people will be more compelled to grab the bargain!
And lastly, simply ASK for the sale. There are tons of sales people out there who do all of the above but forget to simply ASK prospective buyers to buy. Simply tell how to make the purchase by telling them to 'Click the button to buy now!'.
