Bees can be a deadly pest to have in or around your home. While there is tons of chemical pesticides on the market for killing bees, the organic way to kill bees remains the safest for our environment. Individuals that wanted to kill bees organically or without chemical pesticides have been very imaginative because organic pesticides have been hard to come by commercially.

There seems to be more than one kind of bee. Each type has its own distinct way of living and therefore usually has a distinct way of being killed.

The first tip is that one item that can be used to organically kill all types of bees is the organic pesticide Bonide Rotenone Pyrethrins. This liquid organic pesticide is available in an eight ounce bottle. Follow the bottle instructions for usage. Remember that organic products can be toxic to humans as well as pests.

Carpenter Bees are the type that will burrow through the wood in your house. They're abdomen is predominately black, otherwise they look very much like a bumblebee. The second tip is to simply caulk or otherwise plug the nest openings shut. The bees won't bother to burrow their way out and will die. It is very easy to caulk the opening and paint over it. In fact, the fresh coat of paint will help prevent a new bee infestation.

The third tip for getting rid of bees organically is too irritate and vacuum them up. Carpenter bees in small nests can be vacuumed up without much problem, but this probably wouldn't be a good idea with large nests. It is a good idea to wear rubber gloves and long sleeves to prevent stings. Also, be sure to keep children away while doing this.

The fourth tip is for organically removing Yellow Jackets. It seems to be an old farmers trick. At night time, place a glass bowl over the top of their nest.. Supposedly, the bees can see daylight but can't find their way out of the nest. After a few days, the entire nest will die of starvation.

The fifth tip for getting rid of ground bees the organic way is to use a shovel during cold seasons. Try to mark the nest entrance during the warmer time of year or day. On a cold day or season, take a shovel and dig up the nest. You can place the nest and dirt in a plastic bag for dumping in the trash.

It isn't that hard to get rid of bees organically and safely. So try these tips and go organic!
