Are you having trouble getting traffic to your site? Are you looking for free ways in which you can bring in more site visitors? Well if you are then this article will certainly give you some good ideas. I am going to mention 5 sure ways in which you can get the traffic you always wanted to your website, blog or web store; you can use these methods for free, and although they may be a little time consuming you can set apart about 30 minutes from your day to do this every day; after a month you are sure to have regulars visiting your site.

- Use Yahoo! Answers.
Yahoo! Answers is a very popular place to be at this year. It probably gets the most hits out of most Yahoo! services and it can be used by anyone with a Yahoo account for free. What you will need to do in order to get free traffic from here is chose about 15-20 questions to answer on a daily basis. The way that this will work is, the questions you answer must be questions that can be answered by something on your site or by going there and asking for it. On your answer you will include a brief response to the question that's being asked, and then you will point the person who asked to your site by placing a link to it at the bottom as your signature. This will not only get the person who asked the question to your site, but it will also get other people to your site who are viewing the answer to that question for a long time to come. These answers are even indexed by Yahoo, so you can be sure that the traffic will not stop that day.

- Social book marking sites.
Places like Digg, Delicious, Reddit, and StumbleUpon are some of the best places for you to bring targeted traffic to your site. What you need to do is get all of your websites page's/url's and then create an account at each one of those websites. Once you're a member you will need to start book marking your pages as you create them on there. Make sure to add good descriptions of each page you add, and keep up with any comments that show up on there. If you have friends that are a part of those social book marking sites it would be good to ask them to bookmark your pages as well; the more bookmarks you have, the higher ranking your pages will get, and the more traffic your site will have in a short period of time.

- Comments on other sites.
Do you know of other websites or blogs that do the same thing you do? Well if you do, don't be shy to go and promote your website there through comments. This is actually something you should definitely do, especially if those websites are getting a lot of traffic on a daily basis and comments as well. Go ahead and find something that you can comment on, on their site; leave your own comment to their article or content and then add yours as well with a small description and link to a page on your site.

- Develop a nice mailing list and use it.
Although this isn't the easiest thing to create in the world, you need to start working on it now. If you develop a nice mailing list with about 50 subscribers that want your newsletter and that will visit your site then you're good. What you do after that is you keep sending them offers and then you ask them to promote you to five friends of theirs. This is something that will take time to be able to do, but if you have some loyal family and friend members who will visit your page and contribute to it on a daily basis then that's a way to start. If you're on a college campus you can also get a list of emails from your fellow classmates or just random people whom you tell about your site and become interested in joining your mailing list. Make sure to create good newsletters and post a lot of links back to your site on it.

- Encourage referrals.
People will most likely not promote you without incentives; this is why you have to think of a way to get referrals from your regulars. A way to do this is to develop a nice list of freebies that your visitors might be interested in and then send it out to someone who refers a couple of visitors that sign up for your mailing list. Make a form that allows for visitors who join your mailing list to enter in if someone referred them and that's how you will keep track of this. Make sure to promote referral incentives on your website and mailing list newsletters. This will surely bring you traffic and good repeat business if you sell anything on your site/blog.
