5 Websites that Could Save You Money
One of the best ways to stay up to date when it comes to your money and how to keep more of it may be by visiting blogs and websites to harness a variety of different money saving viewpoints and techniques. Through these sites you can pick and choose which money saving tactics are most useful to you. Here are five of my personal picks that might help you in your personal finance education.
From "Giveaways" and "Groceries" to "Freebies" and "Focus Groups" the Money Saving Methods blog runs the gambit when it comes to providing some great money saving ideas, tips, and advice. And I absolutely love the "2010 Savings and Earnings" tally and its pull-down categorical break down. It just goes to show that this lady seems to have a pretty darn good idea of what she's doing and talking about since she's managing to save and earn thousands of dollars through her efforts.
I love it when people actually know and keep track of how much money they are spending, saving, earning, or whatever. I guess it's just one of those things with me. It's interesting to see and be able to gauge progress. Anyway, Jen's Money Saving Blog not only offers up some advice on where to find your daily savings, but also incorporates a savings ticker to track her progress to a 2010 year end savings total of $3650.
With "Online Deals", "Print Coupons", and "Freebies" as just a few of the money saving options at the Money Saving Madness site, there is plenty to pique your money saving interest. If you're new to saving money, you might want to check out the site's "Beginner's Guide to Deal Finding".
Mr. and Mrs. Not Made of Money
Not made of money...boy, isn't that the truth. For those of us that feel the same way, sites like this can be helpful in finding the best way to spend the few dollars we do have. With post titles such as "Tips for Learning to Let Go of 'Stuff'" and "Take A Trip To The Dollar Store," this is definitely my kind of blog. The site's motto is: "Money Saving Tips for a Debt Free Life". Sounds like a plan to me.
Focused upon efficient, effective, and economical living, The Penny-Wise Provider blog explores a variety of opportunities and ways to save money. The "Money Saving Tip of the Week" posts provide a look into money saving examples from the author's actual experiences.
The author himself seems to be a very down-to-earth saver, who is truly interested in finding simple ways of saving money and sharing that information with his audience. It's a brilliant blog in my personal opinion! Of course, I'm a bit biased considering I'm the author, hee, hee, hee! (Hey, com' on, at least I put my blog at the end of the list).

One of the nice things I like about it is they have, I think, over 3500 afiliate stores, and they add more all the time. The newest addition is JCPenny, and when you click on one of the stores all the coupons for that store come up so you don't have to go back and forth between the coupons sites and the stores. The greatest thing, though, is that they offer an unlimited cash back program, the only one that I know of now that Bing got rid of theirs. One final thing, a lot of things are actually cheaper there than going to the stores regualr site becuase the cash back is only offered through the site. Walmart for instance gives me 2% cash back on all my purchases through www.marketamerica.com/yourdomain but doesn't offer it if you go directly to their site. I do most of my shopping online. When you know your families sizes you can do a lot of that. I frequent places like retailmenot.com and priceblink to get coupon codes and then I go to Mycrumb.net and combine the savings and cash back offered there. I end up saving a great deal by the end of the year and it turns out to be a nice little income as well.

Yard and garage sales are a good place to shop.some say dont buy what you dont need. I do if it is cheap cheap. I turn around resale it on ebay for a good profit at buy it now. some things i have even bought at a garage sale and took to a pawn shop for a quick profit. i have did this several times.
