A spa day would be a great gift for a new mom. With all the stuff the mom has gone through, I'm sure she would love a wonderful and relaxing day at the spa. Between carry the baby and having the baby, the mom has been through quite a bit, and now she stays up at night with the baby and has probably lost quite a bit of sleep. So, I'm almost positive she would love to get away for a few hours and have all of the attention focused on her.

Another gift that you may want to give the new mom is a night or day of babysitting. Being a new mom, she is definitely over-stressed between losing sleep and the having to do everything around the house. So, offer her a night or day of babysitting for free. I bet she will take you up on it.

Day of Cleaning

Why not offer her a day of free cleaning? You could clean the home for her or you could hire someone to do it. With all that she has going on in her life; it may be difficult for her to do a real top to bottom house cleaning. So, this may be a great gift for the new mom.

How about taking a day to go shopping? A day out may just do the new momma some good. So, ask her could you treat her to a day of shopping or a girl's day out. The two of you could go out to lunch, shop, have a massage and more. Getting her out the house will do her a lot of good.

Basket of Goodies

This gift is a little bit different than the above gifts, but is still a great gift. You could get her a basket of goodies. In this basket, you could include things like bubble bath, bath salts, makeup, perfume, fingernail polish, hair accessories and other small things she may need or would like to have. Fill the basket with things for her. Since having the baby, all of the attention has left her and is now focused on the baby, so buy her things that she would like in her basket.
