5 Worst Professional Wrestling Biographies

Lee Andrew Henderson
When Mick Foley's first biography, "Have a Nice Day", hit the New York Bestseller's List it opened up the flood gates for many more wrestlers to write their own biographies. This has led to some very good books but also some completely terrible books. These are the 5 worst biographies written by professional wrestlers.

The Rock Says by the Rock
On Amazon.com the Rock's biography is actually listed as "by WWF and Rock" so maybe the Rock didn't have as much a hand in writing it as some of the other biographies, but it was definitely a disappointing book. The book wasn't bad it just did have that flair and charisma that we see from the Rock on television and now on the big screen.

Adam Copeland on Edge by Adam Copeland
Edge's biography is definitely not as bad as the next three but it comes nowhere close to the good biographies either. It's hard to put a finger on what was wrong with Edge's book. It might just be that he hasn't seen and done the things that Foley, Chris Jericho, Bret Hart and Ric Flair had at the time they wrote their books.

It's True, It's True by Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle's book is a lot like Edge's. It's not an awful book it just doesn't give that much of a perspective that we don't already know. Angle goes through his life and chronicles it but that isn't good enough when we've seen most of his career on television already. There needs to be more behind the scenes information.

Lita: A Less Traveled R.O.A.D.: The Reality of Amy Dumas by Amy Dumas
When you flip through the pages of Lita's biography it is so boring that the book seems as needlessly long as the title of the book is. I mean come on, two subtitles? One of the reasons her book might be so boring is because she's probably done the least out of all the wrestlers that have biographies. The WWE deciding to give Lita a biography after Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Mick Foley is the equivalent of the Atlanta Braves printing biographies by Greg Maddux, John Smoltz and Tom Glavine and then they decide, "Hey, how about a Steve Avery biography?"

The Hardy Boyz: Exist 2 Inspire
Everything about the Hardy Boyz biography is horrible. The format where Matt speaks a few lines then Jeff speaks a few lines is terrible. If you've ever read Jeff Hardy's "poetry" then you know that half of what he says is mumbo jumbo. The font used for the book looks like 13 year old playing around with AOL Instant Messenger. I'm pretty sure the rough draft of this book was written in crayon.

Haven't read any of them, but your descriptions are fascinating.
