According to an article posted on RapBasement, 50 Cent has just announced the launch of a new record label with a concept that is different from his G-Unit Records. Although you will still hear artists such as Hot Rod and Spyda Loc, these artists will be featured in a way that is more focused on popular music and lighter beats. Both of these artists are currently part of G-Unit Records, but they will also be featured on the new record label in order to showcase the style difference that is a trend in music today. While G-Unit is based on hardcore beats and lyrics that are from the streets, the new G-Note records will allow these artists to tell stories that are much lighter and centered around having a good time. Over the past few years, the trends in music have shown that party music has an ability to sell many more units than hardcore rap music would if it were produced by the same artist.

In order to take advantage of this trend, 50 cent has decided that most of his G-Unit artists will now have the forum to produce music that is fitted to this format while the introduction of G-Note records. We can also expect to hear music from artists such as Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, both are currently signed to G-Unit and they were previously confined to hardcore rap lyrics and stories of their former lives of crime and drug sales. Fans of these artists will be happy to know that new music will soon be released under G-Note and this will give fans the lighter music that they have been asking for. 50 Cent is best known for his smash hit In Da Club , but artists on his G-Unit label have been confined to make music that fits within the structure of hardcore rap. Without the ability to make songs that are focused around pop music, it is very likely that 50 cent would have never experienced the freedom that led to millions of records sold. In addition o expanding the music that you hear from current G-Unit artists, you will also find that the introduction of G-Note records will give 50 Cent the freedom to explore other artists. If you are a fan that misses the 50 Cent music that is centered around pop, you can expect it will soon be available from his new G-Note Records.
