50 Cent Lip Syncing at BET Award Show

Andrew Bess
Rapper 50 Cent recently preformed live at the Annual BET Awards Show. But some say he wasn't performing live at all. With a brief slip up, it appears as if 50 Cent, legally known as Curtis Jackson, was lip syncing the words of his newest song. Jackson starts off the performance high in the sky as he comes slowly down from the ceiling on some sort of floating device. Maybe this type of thing was used as a distraction to hide him from lip syncing, but it apparently didn't work as he made himself look like a hype man as he continuously walked across the stage then into the audience as just the instrumental music played behind him.

The performance is capped off by the heroic Tony Yayo shouting sweat nothings into the microphone to take up for the loss of words of Jackson. Was this a slip up of planned lip syncing? Here is the video and you decide....

Malicious, you could've just said "It wasn't necessary to give 50 Cent the highlight" and got the same meaning across. I always roll my eyes when people go way out of their way to say something simple. As for 50 Cent's album, I guess I'll find out if I like it when it comes out, but I know I was pissed about his performance.

unnecessary to magnify an innocuous circumstance with gratuitous rhetoric inherently embedded with ingenuous speculation in an attempt to 'knock the hustle'

I was so confused when I saw this performance. At first I was excited because I love "Amusement Park" (dude is a full-blown freak for that rabbit comment) but him jumping offstage, going in the crowd to shake hands with like one or two people, and strolling back onstage like he didn't know he was the main attraction was blowing me. I just stared at the screen and shook my head. Why he felt the need to swing that girl around was beyond me.
