50 Cent's Shocking Weight Loss for Things Fall Apart Cancer Role

According to an article on NME.com, 50 Cent has dropped a large amount of weight for a role in an upcoming film. In total, 50 Cent dropped 54 pounds for the role in a film called Things Fall Apart. In the film, Curtis Jackson plays a college football player who is a hopeful to enter the NFL. However, he is diagnosed with cancer and the battle for his life begins off the field. 50 says that a friend that dealt with caner inspired the role and he became the reason that Jackson decided to write and financed the film. Because 50 Cent financed this film out of his pocket, this gave him the ability to drop the weight needed for the role over the span of a few months. The weight loss took a total of nine weeks and the result is a very slim version of 50 Cent. It is shocking to see him looking so sickly and malnourished, it provides a unique before and after concept that people can look at when they decided to drop weight or put it on. He achieved this shocking weight loss through an all-liquid diet and treadmill workouts for an hour each day. How someone living off liquid had any every at all is something I will never know.
