500 Published Articles: I Have Reached a Goal

I didn't publish my first article until the next January. For those of you who are newer, we actually got paid more for articles then than most people do now, including me. There are some very prolific writers at Associated Content, that make a lot more money than I do. I know some of my friends that make $15.00 and article and have staggering page views and bonuses. I am not one of the fortunate ones. I do know that we should not compare. "To compare is not fair," is a slogan that I have had repeated to myself several times. It is true too. We should only compare ourselves, with ourselves.

I didn't even think that this was a goal, to reach 500 published articles. I was just checking out my account and how much my "estimated bonus" was for the month, which by the way, is always a crock. At least it is money that I have that is extra for the month. I am glad I don't depend on it for survival, I would be a whole hell of a lot skinnier than I am now if I depended on that for my grocery money.

All in all, I really love Associated Content, and especially all of my friends here. I would love to get to know many more of you, but as you know if you have a life, outside of Associated Content, you can't get to know everyone here, not even all of the ones that you would really enjoy getting to know.

I just wanted to express my appreciation to all of you and acknowledge that I have now published 500 articles, which I think is quite an accomplishment, at least for me. If they hadn't deleted several of my articles, because they didn't meet the 350 or 400 word requirement, I would even have more. Ha! I know there are others that have articles that are less than that that are still published.

Thanks to all of you my friends and fans. I want you to know that I am your fan too! God bless you all and keep on writing! Write for the love of it and the rewards will come with it. They may not be monetary but hey they are still qreat accomplishments. My goal for the end of the year is to reach 1,000,000 page views. Thanks to Han Van Megran, (Lord forgive me for the spelling. Can't you just have an ordinary name Han?) for his inspiration and to all of you who have inspired, sympathized, empathized and loved me back.
