Grammy Awards 2010 Will Include Michael Jackson's Children Accepting a Lifetime Achievement Grammy in His Honor

It's been a huge year for the music industry and a diverse selection of presenters, musical performances and a tribute to the late Michael Jackson will reflect that during tonight's 52nd Annual Grammy Awards show. The 2010 Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast live tonight from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, has been dubbed "The biggest night in music". This year's show looks to be one of the biggest yet.

The musical performances on tonight's show will include Beyonce, Eminem, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, The Black Eyed Peas, Elton John, Green Day, Lady Gaga and The Zac Brown Band. And that's just the short list.

A 3-D tribute to the late Michael Jackson looks to be a highlight of the show. Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smoky Robinson and Usher are some of the artists who will be part of the tribute to the King of Pop.

According to The New York Daily News , Jackson's children, Prince Michael, age 12, and Paris, 11, will accept a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in honor of their father. CNN reported earlier this week that Prince Michael is expected to speak at the ceremony on behalf of the Jackson family. A rare appearance by the Jackson children is sure to be a huge draw for tonight's show. Before Michael Jackson's death last summer, his kids were rarely seen in public or without coverings over their faces.

The 2010 Grammy Awards will also be a tribute to guitar great Les Paul, who passed away last summer. Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck will team up with Imelda May for the tribute to Les Paul.

Presenters for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards show will include LL Cool J, Alice Cooper, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Santana, Ryan Seacrist, Norah Jones, Ricky Martin, Wyclef Jean, Keith Urban and The Jonas Brothers.

As for nominees, Beyonce leads the pack with 10 nominations, including the all-important Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Female Pop Vocalist of the year. Pop/country star Taylor Swift, also nominated in all of those categories, is just behind her, with 8 nominations.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Show will air at 8:00 PM until 11:30 PM ET/PT on CBS.
