The blossoms with each battle grow,
And on a wall thousands of names,
Another, with eternal flames.
~
A billion tears for those who passed,
In battles true red blood flows fast,
A shattered family stands in pain,
The flag is folded, yet again.
~
Remaining true unto the fall,
Soldiers received the final call,
The flag flies low, half raised to say,
They will not fight another day.
~
Those who returned stand tall with pride,
Blessings stayed upon their sides,
Honor them and to those who fell,
Whisper a prayer for them as well.
~
In each who comes home from the strife,
The battle scars remain for life,
For all of us they stand or fall,
To all of them I raise the call.
~
To say, "You did not fight in vain,
I am here, I know your name,
I raise my hand up to my head,
Salute the living and the dead."

Perfect, as always.
Wonderfully written to all those that have fallen.
