Disneyland is one of the oldest amusement parks in California. It has been the happiest place on earth since the mid 1950's. Many families have been going to Disneyland since it has opened, and enjoy the rides and experience the magical ambiance of the park.

One main reason that Disneyland still shares the same magic it did back in the 1950's is because it's excellent upkeep and repair of its rides. Recently Disneyland has been doing lots of refurbishment on famous and favorite rides. These 6 popular attractions have gotten a lot of attention and renovation this passed year to uphold their magic and offer Disneyland guests some new surprise looks.

# 6 Snow White

Snow white is a classic ride that can be found in Fantasyland in Disneyland. Recently this year the Snow White attraction has gotten some touch ups. Now when you ride Snow White if you look closely you will notice that everything looks brighter. That is because they have put on a new coat of paint on everything, and also it likes they have added a more intense black light.

# 5 Pirates of the Caribbean

Another classic and popular attraction "Pirates of the Caribbean" has been refurbished recently as well. Everyone has noticed that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" has been changed to reflect the movie and has added Captain Jack Sparrow into, as well as Davy Jones.

# 4 Peter Pan

Peter pan is also a classic attraction as well as movie. This attraction takes you on a trip through the scenes of Peter pan in a pirate's ship.

Several renovations have occurred for this attraction. When you are waiting in line for Peter Pan you may notice that the sails have different colors, and the boats are brand new. Before Peter Pan's sails had red and white stripes, solid black and solid red. Now the sales are red and white striped, blue and white striped, yellow and white striped, and green and white striped.

The boats and seats for Peter Pan are also brand new, and they are also bigger to give you more space. It also looks like they gave new paint to some of the characters and props inside the attraction, and the black light seems to be stronger.

# 3 Fantasmic

Fantasmic is Disneyland's popular night and water show that happens over the Rivers of America. Disneyland has made their Fantasmic show more fantastic. They recently have added more effects, fireworks, and lasers to make this attraction even more entertaining and amazing. I recommend going to Disneyland to see the new changes they have added to this show.

# 2 Small World

It's a small world after all! The Small World attraction has been thoroughly refurbished and redesigned. The Small World now includes Disney themed characters in almost each room. Characters that Disneyland has included into the small work are Cinderella, Nemo, Mulan, Alice in Wonderland, Lilo and Stitch, the Lion King, and much more!. They also have add other new dolls and redesign and painted the props and sets within the Small World.

# 1 Fireworks

Since Disneyland has changed it's theme to "Celebrate" they also have changed their Fireworks show. Before the fireworks show was called Believe, and had fireworks that went off to attraction themed songs. Now Disneyland has a new fireworks show called "Magical". This new fireworks show goes off with Disney movie themed songs. It also includes Dumbo, and Tinkerbell.
