6 Easy Ways to Make Money

Everyone Needs Money and Everyone Wants an Easy Way to Do So

Jim Kelly
In the economic standing of today's world and the current state of our economy everyone needs money to spend and save. The problem is it's hard to supplement an income with another job because it's time consuming and let's face it we all want a quick way to make some money. There are ways to do so without taking up too much of your time and are actually worth your while:

1. Work for the government. I don't mean pick up a government job and quit yours, but 2010 is approaching and if you're aware of our policies, the census comes along with it. Help the government out as a surveyor and earn some extra cash along with some healthy walking when you go door to door. Plus, you get to know your neighbors.

2. Trade in your old junk. A lot of stores offer to buy back many of your old things, such as movies and video games. Look to Blockbuster and GameStop, they usually have good offers for trade ins or buy backs. It's really simple and let's face it you weren't going to play the Dance Dance Revolution game you got last Christmas anyway.

3. eBay. Have things that you can't bring back to stores? Create an eBay account and start selling and auctioning some of your possessions. I have tons of baseball cards that could bring in an easy $1,000 if I sold the whole collection. Go to the dollar store and pick up a few things too and quadruple your investment to someone that actually wants that piece of junk.

4. Recycle and get paid. You will get to clean your neighborhood and cash in on all those beer soda bottles and cans you've collected over the past few months. It won't be a fortune but if you save up the bottles and cash in once a month its a nice little check to deposit.

5. Consult. Everyone today is looking for a consulter. If you're in a field and have a lot of knowledge about it and can help people out, put some ads out on craigslist and help people get a new job or help them write a resume that will get them an interview at least.

6. Write for Associated Content. I had to put a plug for this great website in this article. It's a really unique opportunity to make money and build your writing skills, resume, and bank account all in one. Plus you can write about what ever you want or take on assignments. It's a great option for stay at home moms or college students looking for money for alcohol books. One big plus, is you get your opinions out there for the world to see.

You don't have to do all of them, but you can try. Do at least one though and see your monthly income get a little boost!
