6 Stand Out Singers from "The Voice"

Renee Bagley
This week on "The Voice" Jared Blake was sent home. He was my favorite of the group. I still can't believe that Blake Shelton chose two very similar singers to save: Dia Frampton and Xenia. I like their originality, but I wouldn't buy an album from them. And matter of fact no one I know would either. I think Blake made an error in sending home Jared for two singers who are too jazz toned.

Vicci Martinez is powerful and her voice is uncomparable! Hearing her voice is amazing every single time. This week she sang Dolly Parton's "Jolene," and just when I thought I couldn't like her more than I already did it happened. She certainly gets into the performances and you feel it when she does her warrior dance.

Beverly McClellan - She could easily be the best singer of the entire show. Her voice is compete strength and rock edge. She can sound like Janis Joplin or Melissa Etheridge and not many people get that compliment. Her voice is in control, powerful, and people want to see her win. Did you know she can play over 10 instruments?

Frenchie Davis - The power house singer hails from Washington D.C. She has had a starring role on Broadway where she starred in "Rent."She may have been disqualified from "American Idol," (for racy photos) but she is shining like a star on "The Voice." No doubt, she is going to be hard to beat because her tone is fabulous, she can give all power or be subtle. She is a very diverse singer.

Jeff Jenkins' voice amazes me. The way he can belt out country tunes with such strength and precision leaves me speechless. If Adam sends him home next week he is a fool.

Javier Colon has that star quality that you just don't get over. And yes, his voice is why I feel that way. He is multi faceted and is also a musician.

Nakia is one of a kind. There is no artist out there like him. His voice is strong and in control. I want to see him succeed.

Who are your favorite singers? Do you prefer Dia and Xenia's performances over rock-n-roll singer Jared Blake? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
