- Do your quests in batches. When going out into the land of Azeroth (and the many other lands that came with the Burning Crusade) you should not be doing one quest at a time. Instead you should gather 5-10 quests and do them all in a row. This saves you a lot of travel time. If you do 5 quests in a row (without stopping to turn them in) you would be traveling a lot less, thus you will level faster.
- Use sites like Thottbot. There are many sites out there that have resources for World Of Warcraft players, and thottbot is one of the best ones. They have every single item, quest, and NPC in their database. When you doing a quest just simply type in the quest name and you will be provided with comprehensive details, written by other players.
- Quest in groups. If you have a bunch of quests to complete it will be much easier, and save you a ton of time by completing the quests with other people. It's ultimately the best way to go because many of the quests you will find require more than one person. This is especially helpful when you have to kill elite mobs as part of the quest.
- Use addons! I cannot stress this tip enough. There are literally thousands of different addons that can help you level faster. There are also addons that can help you make a TON of money. I personally recommend you check out a mod called "Cosmos". It has a ton of helpful features. It also displays your location on the map, so you know where you are. Another awesome feature is that it tells you your "time to level" per session. So if your grinding on random mobs and want to know when your going to level up, it will give you a pretty accurate estimate. For a list of addons you can check out Curse Gaming.
- Turn "instant quest text" on, if you have it off (which is default). When you go to an NPC that has a quest, the text is written out. Some of them are pretty long and when you're in a rush, why wait? Simply go into your settings and you will find the option to turn "instant quest text" on. This will save you a lot of time in the long run.
- Join a guild. If you're not in a guild yet then you simply must find one. There are many different types of guilds, if you're new to the game I would recommend a casual guild that is catored to lower levels. By joining that type of guild you should be able to find people to help you with quests and to group with. It also saves you time because you'll have more experienced players you can ask questions to.
All in all, if you implement these tips you will level faster. There is no question about it. Good luck with your adventures in Azeroth!
