You can save money on gas if you are able to take public transportation instead of driving your car. You will also be able to relax and not have to worry about driving through all the traffic.

There may be a convenient small gas station close to you but you may need to do some price shopping if you want to save money on gas. You may want to check the prices of all the gas stations that are close to you. You may think that a few cents doesn't matter but it will definitely add up over time.

Walk More

If you are able to walk to where you need go then you can save a lot money on gas. You can also ride a bike to your destination. A few advantages to this are that you can get some great exercise, you don't have to worry about paying to park you car, and you don't have to worry about traffic jams.

Take Care of Your Car

When you take care of your car, it helps it to get the best gas mileage possible. Another thing that you should try to do is use your air conditioner as little as possible. When you use the air conditioner it takes more gas. You can also use less gas if you roll down your windows.
Check your Tires

You should check the air pressure in your tires as much as you can. Your car will burn more gas if your tires are too low or the pressure is unequal. You should also watch how you drive. You will burn more fuel if you take off quickly. It is best to take off slower.

These tips can help you save money on gas. Even when gas prices drop, this will help you save money and not make you feel like you are wasting so much on gas.

    Great suggestions, Sheena. I used to take buses a lot back home in the UK. The UK is geered more towards public transportation and if you think fuel prices are expensive here, you'd be shocked to see them at double the price in the UK.
