# 6 Walking
The easiest way of getting around when you are in Disneyland Resort would be walking. Depending where you are, walking around could take 15-30 minutes. For example if you are walking around Disneyland Hotel, it may take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to walk to the front gate of Disneyland or California adventure.
# 5 Driving
If you prefer Driving around Disneyland Resort there are many parking lots you can access within Disneyland, and there are many signs posted along the main streets close to Disney to show you where to drive.
# 4 Disneyland Rail Road
There are many ways to get around within Disneyland Resort, but there are also easy ways to get around within Disneyland. One way is the Disneyland Rail Road. The Disneyland Rail Road has 4 stops around Disneyland that includes: Main Street, Toon town/Fantasy Land, New Orleans Square/Frontier Land, and Tomorrow Land. The train is fairly quick, and is great to hop on especially if you had a long day and prefer not walking back to the exit which would in Main Street.
# 3 Tram and Buses
At the end of the day, after you have been at Disneyland and California Adventure you may not want to walk back to your car. Don't worry about walking back because Disneyland Resort offers free trams and buses to the parking lot you left your car in.
If you parked in the Lion King parking lot and Mickey and Friends parking lot you can talk a tram back. If you parked at the Pumba lot, they also offer a free bus that takes you back. If you live in the area, there are also public buses available and are convenient.
# 2 Monorail
Are you staying at one of Disneyland Resorts hotels? Or do you want to go to Downtown Disney from Disneyland or vise versa? Don't work because there is the Monorail, and it can take you from Disneyland to Downtown Disney and vise versa. If you get off the Monorail at Downtown Disney it is very close to the hotels. If you go from Downtown Disney to Disneyland you will be dropped off at Tomorrow land. The monorail is a great and fast option especially if you want to get from one end where the parks are to the hotel and Downtown Disney area.
# 1 Short Cuts
One thing about Disneyland resort is that if you know your way around, you then would know about the short cuts. One popular shortcut is the bridge in California Adventure to the Grand Californian Hotel. This exit takes you into the Grand Californian Hotel area and then to Downtown Disney. A lot of guests that visit Disneyland Resort sometimes thing you need to stay at the Grand Californian to use this short cut, but in reality as long as you have a ticket you can go in and out as you please.
If you are in Disneyland and want to have a short cut within the park, there is a shortcut at the Carnation Pavilion that is to the left of the castle. You will walk over a bridge where bands and schools are performing. In this area there is a small archway that cuts into the Mexican restaurant, and to the rivers of America. The great thing is there is also a under use restroom located in this area.
Other good short cuts in Disneyland include looking at the signs in front of the castle. This includes signs to tomorrow land and frontier land. These routes are better to take especially during fireworks and parades that occur in Disneyland.
Next time you are in Disneyland Resort, these are great tips to have and would help you get around easier.
