If you're looking for stocking stuffer ideas you've come to the right place. Here are ideas to stuff the socks of all the kids and teens on your list.

General stocking stuffer hints

Filling a stocking doesn't have to be hard. Anything that will fit can be a stocking stuffer.

Stocking stuffers don't have to be fancy. You can stuff with things you'd buy them anyway, like school supplies, personal hygiene products, or treats. If you're stuffing with practical gifts like school supplies, consider buying a more fun version, like a character pencil, or wrapping individual items to make the stocking opening more fun.

Be careful that you're not stuffing just to stuff. If you buy junk just to fill the stocking, you will end up wasting your money on things that will be thrown away soon after Christmas.

If you still don't know what to put in those socks, here are plenty of ideas for you.

Ideas for Kids

From toddlers on up, here are ideas for the kids and kids-at-heart in your life.

Tokens for Chuck E. Cheese, the video arcade or quarters for video games would be a great stocking stuffer for any kid into video games.

Christmas is a great time to stock up on school supplies. Fill your kids' stockings with school or craft supplies such as stickers, markers, pencils, pens, crayons, small coloring books, colored pencils, watercolors, fun-shaped erasers or mini-tubs of colorful Play-doh.

Small toys make great stuffers. You can use some such as My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, Hot Wheels, action figures, a small Lego set, or a small stuffed animal. A small book such as a board book works great.

For a more unique item try a personalized license plate or tassels for a bike or items from a joke shop or supplies for magic tricks.

For girls you could also put in nail polish, play makeup, Barbie or doll clothes, play jewelry and hair bows.

Ideas for Teens

Teens can definitely be hard to shop for. Here are some ideas that will be appreciated by any teen on your list.

A gift card to a favorite fast food restaurant, clothing store or an iTunes gift card would please any teen.

If they're driving put in a fun key chain, antenna ball or something to hang from the rearview mirror (small, for safety's sake.).

Tickets are a great idea. Throw in a pair of movie tickets or a ticket to a sporting event or concert your teen would love to go to.

Whatever your teen is into, there is a magazine for it. Give a subscription to his or her favorite magazine, whether it be fashion or sports.

Other ideas include a new wallet, a mini-flashlight or a reading light for late-night studying.

Young ladies would also be happy to find a mini-lotion for their purse, nail polish, make-up items, earrings, jewelry, lip gloss, hairclips or accessories or small candles in their stockings.

Ideas for Anyone

These ideas will work for everyone on your list, regardless of age.

A watch is a wonderful, practical stocking stuffer - get cartoon characters for the kids, a nicer one for anyone older.

If you live in a colder climate, put in a hat and some mittens to keep warm during the winter. Novelty socks would also be a nice stocking stuffer.

Small items that will fill up any space left are a bookmark, chapstick, deck of cards or mini-travel game, and batteries.

Special cup or mug would be nice. Find something personalized or with a favorite character on it..

A DVD or CD is a great stocking stuffer for people of all ages. There is something for everyone.

Cash is appreciated by all and is especially fun when hidden inside other items in the stocking..

And don't forget snacks such as candy, beef jerky, packets of cookies, gum, mints or the traditional fruit.

So here's a great stocking stuffer that is so affordable too! www.doodlemark.com. I bought mine right on Amazon. I copied some of their info for you:
The DoodleMark is a new kind of bookmark that allows kids and parents to interact with books together, like never before. Whether practicing sight words together, working on vocabulary, drawing letters, bookmarking their progress or just doodling a funny picture - its all about creative learning and having fun.
