However, it's not the pompous terms that caught my attention, but the buzzwords that apply to Associated Content and producing content..
The Buzzwords
born digital in the Buzzword Dictionary refers to any documents "not published on paper" but are "created on a computer and distributed electronically." For example, "It is likely that many articles on Associated Content are born digital."
cyberslackers Look up cyberslackers in the Buzzword Dictionary and you will find the following definition: "Employees who use the company Internet connection during work hours to surf the Net, shop, play games, check stock prices, etc." Sentence: "If I still worked in an office, I would be busy writing articles for Associated Content and my co-workers would whisper, "cyberslacker" behind my back."
ego surfing The Buzzword Dictionary says this is "searching the Web to see how many times your name turns up and what others are saying about you." Sentence: "When you Google your name or your articles on Associated Content some might say you are ego surfing." Buzzword Dictionary variant: "narcissurfing: Googling yourself to see where, when, and how many times you name comes up."
keepage: The definition of the buzzword keepage in the Buzzword Dictionary is "the opposite of garbage." An appropriate Associated Content sentence: "Geez, I hope this article is keepage and doesn't end up in the Associated Content Junkyard."
socialize the idea: According to the Buzzword Dictionarythis word means "to spread an idea with the hope that familiarity will gain it acceptance or build a consensus." Sentence: "After I write an article I like, I socialize the idea with social bookmarks."

thinko in the Buzzword Dictionary this buzzword is "a cognitive error or mistake. Unlike a 'typo,' a thinko occurs solely in the brain and doesn't necessarily transfer to your fingers." Post a CommentVery cool information here! I have to admit to being an ego surfer on occasion.
Wow, really interesting. I ego surf at least once a month.
These Buzzwords would also make good track titles for an Associated Content Album.
Well call me an ego surfer!
