My family does this every year and it is a lot of fun!... All you do is... everyone buys a 10 dollar gift ( this can be unisex or ..a girl buys a "girl" gift..boy buys a "boy" gift) I buy things that you can use but some people like to do types of gag gifts with this one! You can either put "boy" or "girl" on each gift if you all decide this is how you want to play it or put nothing on the box. if you want to do the "unisex" or "gag" gift. Write and fold numbers from 1- how many is playing the game, put them in a bowl and let everyone draw one of the folded numbers. The person who draws the #1, goes first and it goes down the line..the catch is you are offered the chance to "take" the gifts of the ones that have already drawn instead of selecting one that hasn't been opened yet.The way that we play is the person that drew the #1 in the end of the game, gets to trade and gets to keep the gift of his choice .NOTE:you can decide to buy cheaper or more expensive gifts for this game

The whole idea of family get togethers is to create memories You know, life is very short and there could be some that are at these family get togethers this year that just might not be around for the next one. So, do try to cherish the memories.

You know sometimes we forget what the "real" meaning of Christmas is ...The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ....Even though, the actual "birth" of Jesus is probally not even in December. Some Christians even prefer not to celebrate Christmas because there is no mention of celebrating Jesus birthday in the Bible and of course the pagan history that surrounds most of the decorations that we use.

This is a personal feeling. what matters, to celebrate Christmas or not is in your heart.

When I think of Christmas..I think of the birth of our Lord and Savior. Our Church has a wonderful play every year that "represents" this special event. You know that sometimes Christmas is the only time some people even go to Church!

No money could ever buy what Jesus did for us on that Cross...He died for your sins and mine so that we can have ever lasting life...

So, this Christmas when you are at your family get togethers. Don't forget the "real" meaning of Christmas...Its not about getting presents and spending money ..it is about the birth of Jesus Christ...This is what Christmas is really about !
