7 Cosmetics Under $10.00

As women we're always trying to find just the right look. We try hair coloring, clothes, and make-up. But these things can get quite costly and many women dole out a lot of money just to make themselves look and feel better about their appearance.

Make-up is usually the product that women purchase on a regular basis. But many times the color or shade of the make-up isn't flattering and we end up throwing it away just like we throw away our money. But it doesn't have to be that.

On my search to find the right cosmetics I found the following quite affordable; all under $10.00.

1. "Covergirl's Exact Eyelights Mascara"-This mascara is one product that's had rave reviews. It feels light on the lashes and complements brown, blue, green, and hazel eyes. It has a no-clump brush that adds definition to the lashes and sells for is $7.97. This product is available at Wal-Mart or your local drug store.

2. "Physician's Formula Mineral Loose Powder"-This powder is oil and fragrance free, has SPF 16 for sun coverage, and is great for people that have a problem with "break-outs." It also benefits those with sensitive skin; it doesn't cake up or have the appearance of being dry. You can purchase this product at CVS Pharmacy for $9.59.

3. "Maybelline Super Stay Make-Up"- This liquid foundation is known to stay on 24hours, will not rub off or transfer to clothing. It protects against humidity and heat, is oil-free, and works well on all skin types. "Maybelline Super Stay Make-Up" can be purchased on line or from Target for $8.94. Note: this foundation does not contain any level of SPF.

4. "Rimmel London Colour Rush Eyeshadow"-This product contains 4 different color schemes in one compact. Such as "Smokey Blue", "Smokey Purple", "Smokey Brun", and "Smokey Noir." This eyeshadow isn't supposed to crease, is soft, and easy to blend. It lasts up to 8 hours and can be purchased at CVS Pharmacy for $5.49.

5. "Almay Intense Eye Color Liquid Eyeliner"-Almay carries a lot of different types of eyeliners; liquid, pencil, and retractable to name a few. Pertaining to the liquid there are 4 different color schemes; "Purple Amethyst", "Raisin Quartz", "Black Pearl", and "Brown Topaz." This product claims to make your eye color "pop." "Almay Intense Eye Color Liquid Eyeliner" can be purchased at CVS Pharmacy, Wal-Mart, and Target. You can also buy it at Walgreens for $6.99.

6. "Neutrogena Soft Color Blush"-This product is streak free and contains vitamins; hypoallergenic, fragrance free, and softens the skin. It comes in two colors which are "Blushing Mocha" and "Sunny Spice." This blush can be purchased at Rite Aid for $8.99.

7. "L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick"-I believe that picking the perfect shade of lipstick is probably the hardest thing to purchase; other than foundation. We either get the right one or we can end up looking a mess. This lipstick is long-wearing and keeps your lips smooth instead of looking or feeling dry. In addition to Wal-Mart and Walgreens you can get it at Rite Aid for $8.95.
