Throwing a child's birthday party sounds simple enough. But for many people the thought brings visions of countless children running wild through their home. Plus it means planning children's games to play and food to buy. And cleaning the house before and after the party too. Luckily there are plenty of great places in the Raleigh North Carolina area that make it easy for you to have a fun kid's birthday party outside of your home.

WiiiBounce in Cary North Carolina offers kids the chance to bounce away the hours on the colorful inflatables or have fun playing with the latest Nintendo Wii technology. A private party package starts at $249 for 1½ hours of play and includes invitations and paper products. Additional optional items such as pizza, cake, ice cream, drinks, and party favors can be added to any package.

Another popular party place for kids who love bouncing is Pump-It-Up, The Inflatable Party Zone with locations in Raleigh and Wake Forest. They offer numerous party package options. The Classic Party Weekend package costs $275 which allows for up to 25 guests to bounce, slide, and jump for 2 hours and includes invitations, paper products and party clean-up. For 14 or less guests you can book the Cozy Classic for $235. Pizza, cake, and balloons are available for additional cost. Pump-It-Up is also available for other special events and field trips.

With 4 locations in the Raleigh-Cary North Carolina area, Buffaloe Lanes offers bowling party packages that will please all ages. For $9.95 per child, you can book the Spare Party package for a minimum of 8 children that includes 1½ hours of bowling, shoe rentals, and pitchers of soft drink. Their Strike Package includes bowling, a separate party room for cake, paper products, a birthday cake, goodie bags, pizza, drinks, a gift for the birthday child, and a party host for just $13.95 per child.

For a unique party experience for the slightly older child, check out Classy Kids Cook in Cary. This popular venue offers party packages that range in price from $280 for 6 children to $430 for 10 children. Packages include 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours of cooking time, ingredients, balloons, gifts for the birthday "chef", etiquette lessons, and more. Classy Kids Cook is also available for kid's culinary camps as well as kids and adult cooking classes.

For the child who enjoys science you'll want to check out the parties offered by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences located in downtown Raleigh. They have complete children's party packages for $245 that vary by theme and age and offer gift bags, cake, ice cream, and drinks too. Your little swimmer will have a blast at their pool party at the Triangle Aquatics Center in Cary NC. You can have a party here for up to 15 kids for $260 with the option to add pizza, chips, and other goodies.

All of these venues are quite popular so you'll want to try picking a date for your child's party months in advance. Remember to pick the party place that best suits your child's age and temperament. And while some options cost more than an at-home party would, the bottom-line is that having your child's birthday party at a professional venue will add up to a happy day for your kids and a stress-free one for you.

Our daughter attended a bday party at BigE Bounce, formerly Wii bounce. the owner is EXTREMELY rude. Also, I caution all to be careful of the waiver you will have to sign. The owner reuses the paper, which is great, only on the flip side of the paper he wanted us to sign, was all the information of a prior guest. I could see his childs full name, birthdate, address and parent name. Wow, that is seriously scary to me. Too many weirdos out there to have all that just avail. to anyone who walks in to drop off a child. Yes, most people are good but a child molester could be your neighbore just as much as it can be an uncle dropping off a child for a bday party. When questioned the owner was rude and said noone ever questioned that and he thought it was completely silly that I questioned it and he walked away. No concern for child safety at a place geared towards children.

We had our daughters birthday party at Jumpin' Beans this year. Their staff was great and it was the best party we have had in 5 years.
