7 Minute Feng Shui for Wealth and Prosperity

Feng Shui has been used in China for thousands of years to bring luck, good health, prosperity, and love to those who practice it. In the simplest of terms, Feng Shui is the art of placement of items to remedy problem areas in your home or work space. Feng Shui uses the ideas of Chi, or the movement of life and circulation and the Five Elements; fire, earth, water, wood, and metal to bring luck, good health, prosperity, and love into one's life.

Although practiced in China for thousands of years, in the West Feng Shui has only been known to most of us for just a decade or two. In fact, I'd never heard of Feng Shui until a friend of mine in London mentioned a few years back that she had her "Feng Shui man" in recently. She was looking for love in her personal life and success in her professional life and used the art of Feng Shui to be proactive in those endeavors rather than waiting for the things she desired to come to her.

While there are different school of thoughts on how Feng Shui should be implemented, there are many commonalities within the different variations of Feng Shui and it's some of those tips that I offer here. You can use these easy to implement Feng Shui practices to bring prosperity into your life.

Sell items that you no longer use on eBay or at a garage sale
By selling items you no longer use on eBay or at a garage sale not only will you earn money, you'll be removing clutter from your home that could be keeping you stuck in the past. By clearing the past away you open yourself up to the possibility of something new.

Keep your email in box empty
Go through your email in box regularly and take action on each email and then delete the email. Like getting rid of stuff you no longer use at a garage sale or on eBay, cleaning out out in box keeps it, and you, open to new possibilities

Get a money tree
in Feng Shui a money tree is a Pachira plant; you can find them for sale online. The money tree is used to attract wealth into your life. Put the tree in your office or wherever you work from. For example, as a writer, I placed my money tree near my computer.

Make sure your stove is clean and working properly
The stove represents the generation of wealth. You'll want to be sure that your stove is clean and all of the elements are working. If anything on your store is dirty, clean it and if anything is not working, repair it.

Use your stove
As mentioned previously, the stove represents the generation of wealth but only if you use it! Cook meals at home using your stove to attract wealth into your life.

Pay attention to the right side of your office entrance
The right side of the entrance to your office represents connections to people who can help you succeed. The right side should be decorated in an attractive manner with plants, pictures, or something else visually appealing.

Repair any leaky faucets or toilets in your home
By repairing the leaks in your home you are preventing money from leaking out of your home and your life.
