I chose 7 songs that I believe Pink should cover either on tour, on the radio or both. She has already covered songs on her tours such as, "Roxanne" by The Police, "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC, "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen and the song she co-wrote for Adam Lambert, "Whataya Want From Me". I don't think there is any musical genre she couldn't tackle and conquer.
"Should I Stay or Should I Go"
This is The Clash classic that was their only #1 hit song. Though it has been covered by other musicians, Pink could do it better. She is pop, rock and punk all rolled into one, and that's why I think Pink should cover "Should I Stay or Should I Go" on her next tour. I don't see it as a radio release but I clearly see Pink banging this song out on stage and pumping up her audience. Besides, she has lived this song with her husband Carey Hart.
"Refugee"
I'd love to hear Pink cover this Tom Petty song. I think she could bring it back to a new crowd on the radio and as a cover song during her concerts. Pink has the throaty sound to kill lyrics like, "Somewhere, somehow, somebody must have kicked you around some. Who knows why you wanna lay there and revel in your abandon?" Tom Petty wrote the lyrics, but my guess is Pink could relate to the message in this song.
"You Really Got Me"
Van Halen rocked this song in the 70s. Though Pink would likely change the gender in the lyrics, it would still be great to hear her put her own spin on this classic rock song. Covers don't have to and shouldn't sound just like the original; make it your own Pink! I'd love to hear Pink's version of this at one of her concerts.
"Bad Reputation"
Joan Jett released this song in 1981 and it is still one of my favorites (not to mention my current ring tone). Joan Jett was and still is considered one of top female rockers ever, but I'm betting that Pink could tear this song up on stage and on the radio. Neither of these two talented women cares much about what other's think of them, which is why I love them. "Bad Reputation" would be a great cover for Pink.
"Tomorrow Wendy"
One of my favorite Concrete Blonde songs is "Tomorrow Wendy". It's a sad tale of a young woman diagnosed with AIDS and it is truly a beautiful song. "It is complete now the two ends of time are neatly tied. A one-way street, she's walking to the end of the line. And there she meets the faces she keeps in her heart and mind." Pink should cover this amazing song in concert and put it back on the radio. A whole generation of young people has no idea the devastation AIDS caused in the 80s; they need to know.
"No Rain"
Blind Melon lead singer Shannon Hoon sang this hit song in 1992-93. "I just want some one to say to me, I'll always be there when you wake." The problem was, Hoon had a very serious heroin addiction and so the words to the song had more meaning than many people understood at the time. I think Pink could cover this song beautifully and make it a radio hit once again. Shannon Hoon was just 28-years old when he died in 1995 from a drug overdose. Pink herself knows the power of drug abuse for a young person. In a 2006 interview she told The Sun, "Heroin is a horrible thing. I've seen first hand what it can do to people and it's not pretty. I was never that much in to it to need treatment."
"Stupid Girl"
Not to be confused with Pink's on the mark song called "Stupid Girls", this potential cover song is a 1996 single from the band called Garbage. The song begins with these lyrics, "You pretend you're high. Pretend you're bored. Pretend you're anything just to be adored. And what you need is what you get." Garbage is an alternative-rock band but I think Pink could cover this song on tour and really sell it to her fans. We all know she hates fake people, and this is what this song is all about.
So, do you agree with my choices of cover songs that Pink should sing? If you think you have other songs Pink should sing, feel free to share in the comment box below.

I agree, Pink could cover just about any song written. She's amazingly talented. I've enjoyed her music ever since her own "Stupid Girls" release.
