7 Steps to a One Minute Feel Good Workout

Mag Inzire
Recently I have found myself feeling less energetic, not having the desire to do much and I believe that it just has to do with too much stress and the feeling of having to do so much. Physically and mentally this has really taken a toll on my own well being. And I do recall that a while back I was having the same feelings and I did do something to overcome that and it came in the form of exercise. Exercising can do so much for how a person can feel throughout the day. One may not even realize what ill effects of not incorporating some exercise into their lives will have unless you have tried it before, then have stopped.

So here I am trying to get re-energized just by simply doing 7 steps on a daily basis. And it is working; finally I am feeling better and doing more. If you too are feeling listless, tired, run down and without energy I encourage you to try these steps.

These 7 steps for a one- minute workout will change the way that you feel. The best part of it is that it is easy and quick. And with that being said it can be done several times throughout the day and can be incorporated into your daily routine at home, school or work. The best part of all is that eventually this will give you more energy and the desire to exercise and do more. So what are you waiting for?

Ready, Set, and Go!

Step 1 - Open and close your hands with your arms extended. Do this in 3 positions arms up, straight across and down by your sides. Repeat 3 times.

Step 2 - Stand up and rise on your toes or the balls of your feet, roll back and forth bringing your feet flat each time. (Take off high heels). Repeat 5 times.

Step 3 - Position each arm across your chest one at a time. Press gently on your elbow. Hold and count to 5. Turn your head to the opposite side each time. Repeat with the other arm.

Step 4 - Lean back in an arched position. Gently support your lower back with your hands. Hold and count to 5. Take slow deep breaths. Be careful not to over arch your back.

Step 5 - Slowly roll your shoulders backwards and forwards in a sitting or standing position with your eyes closed. Repeat 5 times.

Step 6 - Take a slow deep breath and bring your ear down and touch your shoulder. Exhale slowly and do the same with your other ear. Repeat 3 times on each side.

Step 7- Stand straight and bend at the knee, shift weight forward keeping knee over ankle area and heels flat. Hold and count to 5. Do the same with the other knee.

That's it!

The One Minute Feel Good Workout Is Done!
Now take a deep breath and feel the calmness all over.
Take a drink of water.
Smile and think happy thoughts.

Don't you feel better already? I know I do.
