7 Unique Things to Do at Walt Disney World that You Never Knew About

From Swimming with Dolphins to Racing on a NASCAR Track, Seven Unique Experiences at Walt Disney World

Matthew Steed
Millions of people from all over the world travel to Walt Disney World each year to visit its amazing theme parks. From spinning around in tea cups in the Magic Kingdom to going on a wild safari ad Disney's Animal Kingdom, there are many exciting, and unique things to do at Walt Disney World. And there's even some unique things to do at Walt Disney World that you never knew about... until now. Here are seven of my favorite unique things to do at Walt Disney World.

Swim With Dolphins
At Epcot's The Seas with Nemo and Friends most visitors ride in a giant clam shell into the bottom of on the America's largest aquariums to see sharks, dolphins, and other sea life from the dry-side of the glass wall. However, if you're not content with just watching the undersea happenings while staying dry, sign-up for one the the unique adventures available at this Epcot pavilion. From surface snorkeling to full-on SCUBA diving adventures, there are many ways to experience The Seas with Nemo and Friends in a way that most people never get to do.

Race NASCAR-Style (and no, not at the Tomorrowland Speedway)
If you're ever wanted to race like the big boys do at the Daytona 500 then you can make that dream come true at Walt Disney World's Richard Petty Driving Experience. You take control of a NASCAR-style car and race around the regulation track either alone or as a passenger with a professional driver.

Eat Dinner in a Castle
Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom is an icon of Walt Disney World. But few people realize that hidden inside its golden spires is Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant. Dine like a king (or queen) on traditional American favorites. And in addition to a personal meet-and-greet with Cinderella herself upon arrival and sweeping views of Fantasyland, Cinderella's Royal Table features personal table-side visits from your favorite Disney Princesses while you dine!

Travel Around the World on a Segway
Each morning before Epcot's World Showcase opens, a few guests get to experience it all for themselves on a Segway. The two hour experience consists of a training session to get guest familiar with the Segway and then it's off on an around the world tour through World Showcase's 11 countries where a guide points out interesting fact and architectural details in each the World Showcase's pavilions.

Visit the Concession Stand of the Future
At Downtown Disney's AMC 24 movie theater not only can you catch the latest blockbuster while on vacation but you can visit the concession stand of the future where you can mix up your Coke drink in one of over 100 different flavors. Add a gourmet popcorn that you can flavor yourself, too, and you've got perfect date night at the movies at Walt Disney World!

Get a fairytale makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Downtown Disney, your little princess can get a truly one-of a-kind Disney makeover in this charming salon owned by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. From a simple princess hairstyle to a complete Disney princess makeover including a princess costume and pictures, every little girls "inner princess" will shine in the unforgettable experiences

Sample Coca-Cola products from Around the World
At Epcot's Club Cool you can sample (for free) several different Coca-Cola products from around the world. This easy to miss pavilion is in the Innoventions area of Future World at Epcot and most guest never know it's there, but those who do discover it can sample unique Coke products such as VegitaBeta from Japan, Smart Watermelon from China, and Germany's MezzoMiz which is Coca-Cola with a hint of orange.
