7 of This Year's Must Have Christmas Gifts

A list of 7 gifts that would mostly appeal to men but women wouldn't mind receiving some of the gifts on the list either.

iPhone 3G - With a starting subsidized price of $199 and now compatible with usage on 3G networks, Apple's enhanced gem is surely going to be one of this year's must have Christmas gifts. The 3G unit also features Apple's App Store, which allows 3rd parties to develop applications that, when installed, personalizes each iPhone.

Sony PS3 - Now that the competition between HD DVD and Blu Ray is over, with Blu Ray the undisputed winner, the PS3 is a very attractive Christmas present. Mid range Blu Ray players cost about the same as Sony's recently reduced 80 GB PS3, at $399. After reading many Xbox vs PS3 comparisons, the only reason one would be now tempted to want an Xbox in lieu of a PS3 is if that person favored online gameplay much more than watching Blu Ray movies.

Harmonix's Rock Band 2 - Most people love music, and all music lovers loved Rock Band. Rock Band 2 improved upon some of the woes of the first installation of this series--such as modifying the drum set to include quieter drums and a metallic bass pedal. For a person with a PS3 or Xbox, this gift is guaranteed to keep on giving as the ultimate party game.

RC Helicopter - If you didn't get one for Christmas last year or the one you got last year is broken, consider yourself lucky, as a lot of the models out this year improve upon the woes of the models sold last year (easily broken tail rotors, lack of lateral stability, etc.). Flying these things is a blast, whether you're 8 or 38 years old.

Wireless Headphones - Free your audiophile with the gift of wireless headphones. There are a plethora of models available with a wide variety of features and price range. These headphones are more for the inactive listener, as the wireless headphones available mostly tend to be the larger, over the ear (earmuff) type.

Electronic Reader - Do you know any tech-savvy bookworms? The future of reading is bound to completely shift into the digital era in the near future. Several manufacturers already offer promising electronic readers, many of which download content directly from the internet.

GPS - With many people moving to unfamiliar areas because of careers, this gadget is becoming a "must have" for many. With such a gadget, the gift receiver would never have to be afraid to agree to meet up with coworkers in an unfamiliar city lest he/she get lost ever again!
